V�lkova is an Argentine duo, originally from Buenos Aires, formed in early 2013, which recreates the atmosphere of electronic and experimental bands and a reminiscent of early industrial music. Influenced by the minimal wave and post-industrial music they made their debut album named �Confusion is a good weapon� consisting of 6 tracks plus 2 remixes.
After the debut album released in mid 2013 and catalogued as one of the breakthrough recordings of the year, V�lkova begins 2014 presenting �Silent Howl�, a limited edition of 300 units in vinyl format, distributed in Europe by Kompuphonik Musik, Kollaps Records and in South America by Tacuara Records.. Following the same line as the first album, but with a stronger sound, �Silent Howl� faces two genres that confirm their post-industrial and coldwave influences (like the version of Monte Cazazzas�s �Birds of prey�). Also, the album goes beyond the genres mentioned before.
The next to-be-released vinyl edition of �Silent Howl� incorporates the song �Pulsion�, which serves as Volkova�s second video clip. Pulsion transmits certain landscape�s rusticity and apathy, a metaphor of the different moods we sometimes succumb to. It manages to counterpose to such utopian aspirations that move us, and help keep active against the never ending search for that which we desire, that which we exteriorize through music, and the arts in general.

Tamhiis�s music is the sound equivalent of a pothole garden inside a tractor tire lying on wasteland. Surrounded by synthetic material, filled with the vital energy of flowers and pumpy rocks that music trips over from time to time. The ring of the tractor tire symbolizes a halo that creates significance and gives energy to surroundings.

How to get there?

Rakvere is 100 km to the east from Tallinn with a good coach connection from the capital to Rakvere and back. The distance from St Petersburg is 273 km with coach connection several times a day.

The club 10 trummi (10 Drums) is situated in the downtown of Rakvere, just 100 m from the coach station.

From Tallinn by coach the best choice both time- and pricewise would be the coach leaving Tallinna Bussijaam at 19:15. The approximate travel time is 1 hour 15 minutes.
You can get back to Tallinn by coach leaving Rakvere at 6:35 or also earlier by St Petersburg-Tallinn coaches leaving Rakvere at 4:35 and 5:35.
From Tallinn you can also take a train to Rakvere leaving Tallinn railway station at 18:51 and back to Tallinn from Rakvere railway station at 6:15 on Saturday morning. The railway station is about 15 minutes walk from the club.
