This place is what i would call forum, and information site. A good one i might add. But are there any more complex communities where you have more advanced profile and where there are more activities member to member. Either in Goth, alternative styles or maybe more exhibitonistic/fetisch ( like Darkside.se). Would also like tips for member organisations that arrange own things (like Dekadance.se). And finally maybe some cool places that are dress appropriate all days, and not only for one day. All help would be apreciated. Me who´s clueless is a Swede just moved here and need help to start up a new life. Wanna join in?

So you'd like to be pointed towards some Finnish goth etc. communities? If so, there's besides this Gootti.net a dark and truly sinister place called Club Schatten. They have a discussion forum over there, though they don't have that advanced profile thingy you wished.

The only service that comes even close to your description is IRC-Galleria, but it's not about any specific subculture or even alternative. I can't think of any darker alternative bars either, the ones that come even close (in Helsinki city center) are PRKL, Dante's Highlight and Base but they're all mainly rock and metal places. There's at least some kind of BDSM-fetish scene in Finland, maybe someone else in here knows it better than I do?
There's also an "ok" selection of gothic / industrial clubs and events in all the major cities, just keep an eye on the events section of this forum.

Thanks for tips, though im suprisied it wasnt more. Thought finland was nr 1 in goth in scandinavia. So not even an vampirebar in helsinki. With such a dark culture finland is there should be lots of them. So i guess this is why there are some finns on the swedisch sites. So gootti should maybe step up. But maybe i will get more tips. At least one bar should exist.

Nope. We're more a metal country than a goth country. Simply not enough customers for more than maybe one or two occasional goth clubs.

What you're describing sounds to me like Vampirefreaks but just for people in Finland. As dark and grim as Finland might be, there's not enough people in the "scene" for that sort of thing.

Also, vampire bars? Really? These things actually exist?

Brb, gotta go pack some garlic, stakes and holy water for my next trip.

^ Unfortunately there are that kind of places because of the people who actually want to spend their free time acting like vampires. Some of them even believe that they are vamps. Lunatics.

Usually there are goth people there but the general concept are vampire, and maybe more to do with design of place and darkness and black & red and so on and not with those "suckers" )
